Diving Tour |

Check out Diver Steve with Divers Two, one
of your PADI certified dive instructors, who will accompany you
on your kayak dive trips. SRK Co. arranges dive trips to local
dive sites around Belmar and the Shark River Inlet, including
dives in the Back Bay and around the inlet itself all by kayak.
You will be instructed by a PADI dive master on how to get in
and out of your kayak donning SCUBA gear. PADI kayak dive
certification also available. Dive times vary depending upon the
tide. Contact us directly for particular details on scheduling a
dive at one of these locations or to join in on one that has
already been planned. |

S-1 Tidal Drift Tour |
|
 |
Shark River Inlet can be a challenge due
to the fast moving currents. This tour was designed to tap the
energy of the ocean. Based on the tides, the tour is scheduled
only one time per day during the last hour of the outgoing tide.
As you meander out the river with the tide, passing tidal pools
and other natural wonders of nature, your tour guide will take
you out to the Atlantic Ocean. On the incoming tide, your guide
will bring you safely and easily back to where you started. This
is a great paddle and perfect for the explorer within you!

Eco Tour |
|
The Shark River Basin/Estuary has long
been a favorite destination for bird watchers and nature lovers
who travel great distances to observe over 90 varieties of birds
who make their home in the backwaters of the Shark River. Go
where only kayaks can go. Paddle stealthily and observe nature
up close and personal. This is a great tour for the
photographer. Depending on the conditions, your tour guide will
head northwest to Musquash Cove or head southwest to Scout's
Island. A less vigorous paddle leaves you relaxed as you enter
the delicate marshlands where both heron and swans, among
others, make this marsh their home. Go where no boats can go and
come experience nature how it was meant to be! |
